Implementation

We bridged the gap between the serious security-ness™ expected of a banking app and all the savings and perks Chase Pay had to offer through the playfulness of illustration and animation. The juxtaposition of our illustrated piggy bank with realistic renderings of Chase Pay’s interface and key screenshots on a smartphone, helped us explain complex concepts and payment procedures in a simpler, more engaging manner.

The super-talented illustrator/animator Chris DeLorenzo then helped polish and bring our piggy bank to life across a myriad of touchpoints, ranging from video screens at the pump and social posts to print ads and hyper-targeted billboards near Shell gas stations.

Results

Our work for Shell increased Chase Pay’s trial and adoption, which helped pave the way for future partnerships and campaigns with more national brands like Phillips66, Best Buy, and ShopRite.
